I'm feeling so encouraged today... I spoke to Bishop Burke today, of LaCrosse, Wisconsin. He is a huge proponent of the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart. It is an age old devotion, which has great relevance for bringing today's family to Christ. Read an upcoming issue of the National Catholic Register for more on this subject.
We had our Enthronement several years ago, at the suggestion of my older brother. Our icon was hand-painted by my very talented sister-in-law, and we are reminded daily that he is the King of Kings.
If the social reign of Christ is to be brought about (and it is!), then it will be done through the family, which will then feed society.
Enthrone your home to Christ today. Consecrate your family and all your activities to His Most Sacred Heart.
